2023 Nissan Titan

The Nissan Titan is a full-size pickup truck with an impressive V-8 engine and a long list of standard features. For the 2023 model year, the Titan has just a few minor changes. The Pro-4X and the Platinum Reserve will now come standard with a wireless version of Apple CarPlay, and the Midnight Edition Package is back for the SV models with the crew cab. Here's a look at some of the details for the 2023 Nissan Titan.

Trim Levels

The Titan lineup starts with the S. It comes with 18-inch steel wheels, halogen headlights, a damped tailgate, and a four-pin and seven-pin connector. A step up to the SV adds 18-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, front tow hooks when equipped with four-wheel drive, and power-folding side exterior mirrors. The Pro-4X is the off-road Titan. It has front tow hooks, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, red badging, and a skid plate for the radiator. Step up to the Platinum Reserve for chrome running boards, puddle lights, a two-tone exterior paint scheme, and cargo bed lighting. It also has LED bed rail lighting and sliding tie-downs in the bed.

Engine

All the Titan models have the same powertrain. The 5.6-liter V-8 engine generates 400 horsepower and delivers 413 pound-feet of torque. It works with Nissan's nine-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive comes standard. Four-wheel drive is optional for all models.

Performance

The V-8 engine is one of the best in its class, and the Titan makes the most of its power. When equipped, it can tow up to 9,660 pounds and carry up to a 1,710 payload. The upgrades to the Pro-4X make it more off-road capable.

Interior

Inside, there's room for up to six in the Titan's larger cab with the front bench seat or room for five with the optional bucket seats. It comes standard with cloth upholstery, with leather in the Platinum Reserve. This high-end trim also adds heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. The upscale Platinum Reserve upgrades the interior with chrome and wood trim and unique badging. Technology features in the Titan include an 8-inch touch-screen in the base trim, which also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo, and USB ports. Bumping up to the SV gets you a Wi-Fi hotspot. A 9-inch color touch-screen comes in the Pro-4X and Platinum Reserve, and the upgraded system brings integrated navigation. A 12-speaker premium stereo system comes in the Platinum Reserve.

Safety Features

Every 2023 Titan comes with Nissan's Safety Shield 360 group of advanced safety features. This bundle has a forward-collision warning, automatic braking, a blind-spot monitor, lane-departure warning, rear automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic warning. It also includes rear parking sensors and a trailer sway control system that adjusts the brakes to help minimize trailer movement. Step up to the SV to add adaptive cruise control. The Platinum Reserve has all these safety features and adds front parking sensors and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
