2023 Nissan Frontier

Drivers can choose from three different trim levels with the Nissan Frontier. The entry-level S has 16-inch steel wheels, automatic halogen headlights, LED taillights, and manually adjustable side mirrors. A step up to the SV gets you 17-inch alloy wheels and power-adjustable side exterior mirrors. Add the Convenience Package to pick up a spray-in bed liner, heated side mirrors, a trailer hitch with a wiring harness, and under-rail lighting in the bed. LED headlights and a sunroof come with the optional SV Premium Package. The Pro-4X adds to all this with Bilstein shocks, skid plates, dark-painted wheels, all-terrain tires, and a locking rear differential.

All the Frontier models use the same powertrain. The 3.8-liter V-6 generates 310 horsepower and delivers 281 pound-feet of torque. It works with a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is optional for any trim.

The V-6 engine has plenty of power for propelling the Frontier whether you stay on the road with the S and SV or take the Pro-4X off the road. When equipped with the available tow package, this pickup can tow up to 6,720 pounds.

Inside, there's room for four in the King Cab and five in the Crew Cab. Both cabs have Nissan's Zero Gravity seats in the front, and it also comes with cloth upholstery, a tilt steering wheel, and a push button start. The SV adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, and the optional Convenience Package adds heated front seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You can get simulated leather upholstery with the Premium Package or leather upholstery and upgraded trim elements with the Pro Premium Package. Technology features start with an 8-inch touch screen for the infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker stereo system. The SV Premium Package adds a 10-speaker stereo system, and you also get this as a standard feature with the Pro-4X. This model upgrades to a nine-inch touch screen, and adding the optional Pro Convenience Package gives you wireless charging.

All the Frontier models come with a rearview camera and a forward collision warning system with automatic braking under certain circumstances. The Pro Convenience Package for the Pro-4X adds a 360-degree surround-view camera system, and all trims can add the Technology Package. This optional group comes with a lane-departure warning, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear automatic braking system that will apply the brakes if it senses an imminent collision with an object behind the Frontier, and an adaptive cruise control system.
