Trim Levels

The 2023 Rogue is available in four trims: S, SV, SL, and Platinum. The S model sets the tone with plenty of exterior features, like LED automatic on/off headlights, LED taillights, power side mirrors, privacy glass, and dark gray 17-inch alloy wheels. The SV adds 18-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors with turning signals, and several conveniences with Nissan Intelligent Key and NissanConnect. An available SV Premium Package adds a panoramic moonroof, a power liftgate, and silver roof rails. The SV Midnight Edition package adds 18-inch wheels, a custom fascia, a new grille, and more in gloss black. Check out the Rogue SL to get two-tone exterior paint, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a moonroof.

Engine

All trim levels of the Rogue use a continuously variable automatic transmission and a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine generating 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive an affordable option. Like the prior year's model, the 2023 Rogue can accelerate from zero to 60 in 7.5 seconds.

Performance

The Nissan Rogue continues its trend of firm suspension, graceful handling, and rapid acceleration. All versions of the 2023 Rogue have switchable drive modes that change transmission and throttle behavior. These modes are Normal, Sport, and Eco for front-wheel drive, while all-wheel-drive models also gain the Auto, Off-Road, and Snow modes. Front-wheel-drive Rogue models can earn up to 33 combined mpg, making this a smart SUV for consistent use or long-term ownership.

Interior

Starting with the Rogue S, the cabin is appointed in two-tone tan and gray trim with charcoal gray seat cloth. Many features come standard, including a 60/40-split folding and reclining rear seat backs, rear seat air vents, steering-wheel paddle shifters, and push-button start. There's also an 8-inch infotainment touch-screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a standard and satellite radio, an auxiliary port, and two USB ports. The SV trim upgrades the cabin in a few ways, such as adding dual-zone automatic climate control, and it also has its own Premium Package, which adds heated front seats, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, leatherette seating, and other luxuries. Lastly, the SL and Limited add leather seating as well as a Divide-N-Hide cargo management system. With optional packages on these trims, it's easy to find a Rogue with tri-zone automatic climate control, a 9-inch touch-screen, Alexa, ambient interior LED lighting, and more.

The tire-pressure monitoring system flashes the lights and chirps the horn as soon as you've filled a tire to the right pressure. Upgrade to the SV and you'll get an upgraded blind-spot monitor with intervention capability, plus adaptive cruise control and lane centering. The Rogue SL adds a 360-degree view monitor, traffic sign recognition, and navigation-connected adaptive cruise control.
