2026 Nissan Rogue Grades, Prices and AWD in Indianapolis

Nissan updated the Rogue partway through the 2026 model year, and the updated lineup is the one on sale now. That update is what brought in the Dark Armor grade. At launch the range ran from $29,490 for a front-drive S to $39,390 for a Platinum, before the $1,545 destination charge. Fuel economy is rated 32 mpg combined on a front-drive Rogue, 31 on one with all-wheel drive (AWD), and 29 with the Rock Creek's all-terrain setup.

The all-wheel-drive premium is the same $1,400 on each of the 3 grades offered both ways, so the drivetrain decision costs the same whether you shop at the bottom of the range or the middle of it.

Destination is charged on top of every figure above. At launch that put the least expensive Rogue at $31,035 delivered and the most expensive at $40,935 before a single option was added. What a particular car costs is listed against it in our new Nissan SUV inventory in Indianapolis.

Seat material changes with the grade. Dark Armor uses heated front seats in PrimaTex leatherette-appointed trim, the Rock Creek pairs leatherette with ballistic nylon and contrast stitching, and the Platinum can be ordered with chestnut-brown semi-aniline leather-appointed upholstery.

The Platinum is the only grade with the Divide-N-Hide cargo floor. Set in its low position, it opens the space behind the rear seats out to 36.5 cubic feet instead of the 31.6 every other Rogue carries.

The drivetrain choice also changes the drive-mode selector, and that is the part most shoppers do not find out until they are sitting in the car. Front-wheel drive carries 3 modes; Intelligent All-Wheel Drive carries the same 3 plus 2 more.

Fuel economy is set by the drivetrain first, and then again by the Rock Creek's all-terrain tires and suspension.

Weight barely moves across the range, which surprises people who expect the off-road grade to be the heavy one.

The lightest and heaviest all-wheel-drive Rogues sit 130 pounds apart. The Rock Creek is not the heaviest of the 5, either: the Dark Armor and the Platinum both come in above it, because equipment weighs more than all-terrain tires do.

Every Rogue is rated to tow 1,500 pounds. That 1,500 covers the trailer and everything in it, not the empty trailer, so weigh what you actually plan to pull rather than working from a dry weight. A separate limit, 150 pounds, is the most that may press down on the hitch itself. That unpredictability is the argument for the Rogue's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, and specifically for the 2 extra settings on its drive-mode selector. Off-Road and Snow are the modes a front-drive Rogue does not carry. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive added $1,400 at launch on each of the 3 grades that also come in front-wheel drive. The wheel choice matters here too: the Rock Creek runs 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, while Dark Armor and Platinum run 19-inch wheels. On a 17-inch rim there is more tire sidewall between the wheel and the road than there is on a 19, which matters more on broken pavement than on a smooth one.

The systems fitted as standard right across the range, on the cheapest Rogue and the most expensive one alike, are Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking and Intelligent Driver Alertness. What changes with the grade is the equipment fitted on top of that.

ProPILOT Assist comes as standard equipment on every grade except the S. That is why the $1,000 step from the S to the SV is the most consequential price on the sheet.

Rock Creek is the outdoor version. It is also the only grade that gives up fuel economy beyond what all-wheel drive already costs, which is what all-terrain rubber and off-road suspension tuning ask for.

Dark Armor came in with the mid-year update and goes the other way. It carries the same 28, 35 and 31 mpg ratings as every all-wheel-drive Rogue except the Rock Creek, so the blacked-out look costs nothing at the pump.

If your winter involves a gravel drive or an unpaved lane, take the Rock Creek. If it involves a parking garage and a warm cabin on a January morning, take the Dark Armor.

Nissan lists a second Platinum package as well. The Platinum Tech Package is what brings ProPILOT Assist 2.1, rain-sensing wipers and the 3D Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor, and it is a different package from the $990 Platinum Premium Package. Which packages an individual car carries, and what each one added to its price, is printed on that car's window sticker, and we will read it off with you.

Because each package belongs to one grade, what it does to the price lands on a single line.

Paint is priced separately from equipment. Premium Paint listed at $450 at launch on any grade, and Premium Paint with the two-tone finish listed at $1,000 on the Platinum. Whether the color you want carries one of those charges is printed on the individual car's window sticker.

There is an honest limit to this range, and it is the same one on every grade. Every Rogue seats 5 and tows 1,500 pounds, and no amount of money moves either number. If you need a third row or a heavier trailer, no version of this car solves it.

Powertrain runs 24 months and 24,000 miles past the basic warranty, which leaves powertrain and corrosion as the 2 longest clocks on the car, both at 5 years. Corrosion is the one that answers the salt on these roads through the winter.
