2027 Nissan Kicks: Trims, Prices, AWD and the New Rock Creek

The Kicks itself carries over from 2026. The news is the first Kicks Rock Creek package, sold as the SV Rock Creek with all-wheel drive. Heated front seats and mirrors are also now standard on the SV and SR with AWD. The 2027 S and SV no longer have Rear Automatic Braking or rear sonar; both now come only on the SR and the Rock Creek.

These facts hold for every 2027 Kicks.

The 2027 Kicks keeps the same 2.0-liter engine, Xtronic CVT, EPA ratings, size, ground clearance, cargo space and warranty as the 2026 Kicks. The lineup and some equipment changed, as this table shows.

Launch prices rose on all six versions sold in both years.

The 2027 Kicks comes in seven versions: the S, SV and SR with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, plus the SV Rock Creek with all-wheel drive. This table shows each version's MSRP at launch.

Each 2027 Kicks grade builds on the one below it, and the Rock Creek is a package on the SV with all-wheel drive.

S

The S opens the 2027 Kicks lineup. With front-wheel drive, the S has:

• 16-inch steel wheels with covers
• Cloth seats
• A urethane steering wheel

Heated seats, roof rails and a moonroof are not offered on the S with front-wheel drive. The S with all-wheel drive adds a multi-link rear suspension and Snow mode.

SV

The SV adds:

• Heated front seats, heated outside mirrors and rear-passenger under-seat heater ducts, standard with AWD and part of the Cold Weather Package with FWD
• 17-inch wheels, steel with covers on FWD and machine-finished alloy on AWD
• Premium cloth seats
• Silver roof rails, privacy glass and body-color door handles
• A panoramic moonroof with the SV Premium Package

SV Rock Creek

On the SV AWD, the Rock Creek package adds:

• An Off-Road drive mode, tuned for extra control on slippery surfaces, and Hill Descent Control
• Rear Automatic Braking, front and rear sonar and an Around View Monitor
• A black tubular roof rack with cross bars and black 17-inch Rock Creek alloy wheels
• A spare tire (every 2027 Kicks has a tire repair and inflation kit)
• Amber LED signature accents and amber daytime running lights, a gloss black front fascia and grille, and Rock Creek badging
• Rock Creek leatherette-appointed seats with contrast stitching, a TailorFit-wrapped steering wheel and ambient lighting

The Rock Creek keeps the SV's 7-inch driver display and four speakers, and no moonroof is offered.

SR

The SR is the top grade of the 2027 Kicks. It adds:

• A digital dashboard display
• The most driver-assist features of any 2027 Kicks
• Leatherette-appointed seats with sport cloth inserts and two-tone stitching
• A TailorFit-wrapped steering wheel and ambient lighting
• A rear seat armrest with cup holders

The SR Premium Package adds a panoramic moonroof, 10-speaker audio and a heated steering wheel. Two 19-inch alloy wheel designs are also SR options.

The Rock Creek and the SR with all-wheel drive are close in launch price, and both come with Rear Automatic Braking and front and rear sonar. Beyond that, each has features the other does not.

If the Kicks is too small, the 2026.5 model-year Rogue is the Nissan crossover to look at for more room. It has 31.6 cubic feet behind the rear seat and 74.1 folded. The Rogue also has a 1,500-pound tow rating, while the 2027 Kicks is not rated for towing. The 2026.5 Rogue S with FWD starts at $29,490 at launch. Every 2027 Kicks grade offers both drives, but the Rock Creek comes only with all-wheel drive. On the S, SV and SR, all-wheel drive adds a Snow drive mode, while the Rock Creek has its own Off-Road drive mode.

Winters here swing between light and heavy. At Indianapolis International Airport, 5.7 inches of snow fell in 2023 and 31.6 inches in 2025, against a 25.5-inch normal. That makes all-wheel drive insurance for the snowy years rather than a must. It's worth it if Snow mode and winter comfort matter more to you than the added cost and the smaller cargo area. If not, front-wheel drive saves money and keeps more room.

Every 2027 Kicks uses the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder and Xtronic CVT on regular gasoline. Its EPA ratings depend on the drive.

Every Kicks has four cargo tie-down hooks, and the Rock Creek's roof rails and cross bars are rated to carry 165 pounds.
