2027 Nissan Murano: What's New, Trims and Prices at Launch

Every 2027 Murano shares these basics.

For 2027 the Murano lineup has three trims, including a new Dark Armor between the SL and Platinum, and Snow Mode joins the Drive Mode Selector on every trim. This generation of the Murano arrived for the 2025 model year. The mechanical package carries over, and these are unchanged for 2027:

• The 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine and 9-speed automatic
• Intelligent All-Wheel Drive
• The EPA estimates
• The towing rating
• The cargo space
• The exterior dimensions
• The warranty

What changed is what each trim includes and what it costs. Here is how 2027 Murano launch prices changed from 2026.

The lineup and its equipment changed in these ways from 2026 to 2027, with the package price shown as MSRP at launch.

The 2027 SL keeps its 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, driver memory, HD Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor and ProPILOT Assist. The equipment it dropped comes standard from the Dark Armor up, and the ventilated, massaging front seats and heated rear seats are now Platinum-only.

The 2027 Murano comes in three trims, SL, Dark Armor and Platinum, and each step up adds equipment. Compare each trim's MSRP at launch and what it brings.

These are the 2027 Murano's main factory options, and the Technology Package is offered only on the Platinum.

Choosing a 2027 Murano trim comes down to the comfort and convenience features you want.

Choose the SL if you want the Murano's powertrain and full standard safety list at the lowest price at launch, and you can do without a moonroof, Google built-in navigation and premium audio. With no moonroof overhead, the SL also has the most front head room of the three trims.

Choose the Dark Armor if you want the panoramic moonroof, heated steering wheel, Bose audio and Google built-in, and you like its gloss black wheels and badges with an all-Graphite interior.

Choose the Platinum if comfort comes first. It is the only 2027 Murano with ventilated and massaging front seats, heated rear seats and leather-appointed seats, and the only one offered the Technology Package, which brings ProPILOT Assist 2.1 and the head-up display.

Look at another Nissan if the Murano isn't the right fit. The 2026.5 Nissan Rogue costs less at launch, posts higher EPA estimates and holds more with the rear seat folded, while the Murano has more power. Behind the rear seat the two are close, though the Rogue Platinum holds 36.5 cu ft there with its Divide-N-Hide cargo floor set low (31.6 cu ft on other 2026.5 Rogues). For a third row or more towing, the 2026 Nissan Pathfinder seats eight as standard. It tows 3,500 lb on the SV and SL (6,000 lb with their Premium Package) and 6,000 lb as standard on the Rock Creek and Platinum.

All three 2027 Murano trims have the same engine, transmission and EPA fuel economy estimates.

All-wheel drive and the Drive Mode Selector's Snow Mode come on every 2027 Murano, so you don't need to step up a trim to get them.

Exterior size, leg room and shoulder room don't change by trim on the 2027 Murano, but the SL, with no moonroof, has more front head room and passenger volume than the other two trims.

Here are the 2027 Murano's cargo space, towing and payload ratings.

Folding the rear seat almost doubles the cargo space. The towing rating suits light trailers.

Nissan offers a Class I Tow Hitch Receiver Kit and a 4-pin Trailer Tow Harness for the Murano as accessories. The 2027 Murano has no built-in trailer brake controller and no trailer hitch assist.

Every 2027 Murano has dual displays and wireless phone connections, while Bose audio and Google built-in start at the Dark Armor.

The Dark Armor and Platinum also include a Wi-Fi Hotspot with trial access to a 1-year Premium package.

The 2027 Murano SL comes with the full set of standard safety and driver-assist features, and the Technology Package adds more on the Platinum.

With the Technology Package, the Platinum steps up from ProPILOT Assist to ProPILOT Assist 2.1, which allows attentive drivers to go hands-off in freeway driving situations.

The Technology Package also brings the 3D Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor, which lets you rotate the virtual camera view to help you judge distances and spot obstacles, and a head-up display that projects information, such as your current speed and the posted speed limit or currently playing song titles, right onto the front windshield.
