Powerful New Engine

Under the hood, the Kicks replaces the old 1.6-liter with a powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque. Power goes to the wheels through a CVT, and front-wheel drive is standard.

For the first time, the Kicks is now available with all-wheel drive, a plus for adventure lovers. It also sits higher than the previous model, with 8.4 inches of ground clearance, making off-roading easier and more enjoyable.

Ample Space for the Crew

The 2025 Kicks is larger than its predecessor, with a total passenger volume of 125.6 cubic feet, up from 92.7 cubic feet. It offers 42.7 inches of legroom up front and 34.5 inches in the back. You get standard cloth seats, but there are options like premium cloth and leatherette in higher trims.

Standard zero-gravity seats on both rows improve posture and reduce fatigue on long drives. Heated front seats and a heated leather steering wheel are optional with the Premium Package in higher trims.

Seamless Connectivity

The base S trim comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display, while all the other trims step up to a 12.3-inch screen. Both options will get you Bluetooth audio streaming and connectivity. Wireless smartphone integration is available through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The SR trim has a dual-screen setup that pairs the 12.3-inch infotainment screen with a 12.3-inch instrument panel.

The base sound system has four speakers, but you can get six speakers in some trims. Audio lovers can go for the 10-speaker Bose sound system available with the Premium Package. You can also get up to four USB ports and a wireless charger on higher trim levels.

Flexible Cargo Area

With 30 cubic feet of trunk space, the Kicks lets you bring everything you need for family fun time. If you’re hauling bulky stuff for a DIY project, you can fold down the rear seats to increase the cargo volume to 60 cubic feet. A wider cargo opening makes it easier to load and offload large items.

Advanced Driver Assistance Features

All trims come with Safety Shield 360, which has a ton of driver assistance features. They include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, intelligent cruise control, and a blind spot monitor. A 360-degree surround-view camera is optional, along with an active lane-keep assist system.
