Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 Nissan Frontier: Build Your Ideal Truck

Frontier S

The base Frontier S is already impressively equipped, boasting a 310-hp 3.8L V6 engine that’s mated to a precise 9-speed automatic transmission. Along with a standard limited-slip differential for improved traction, the trim offers a switchable 4-wheel-drive system complemented by a 2-speed transfer case. Maneuvering the truck is always effortless thanks to its speed-sensitive steering.

S models are available in the 5-seat crew cab or the 4-seat King Cab body style, respectively featuring folding 60/40 split-bench and 50/50 jump seats that provide greater practicality. An 8-inch NissanConnect infotainment touchscreen system supports smartphone integration and Bluetooth technology. The available S Utility Package comes with a durable spray-on bedliner and 120-volt power outlets for the bed and cabin.

Frontier SV

From the outside, the SV differentiates itself from the S with its metallic front grille and larger 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. It’s also the first trim in the Frontier lineup to give buyers the option of adding the handy Utili-track Channel System with adjustable tie-down cleats making it easier to secure a variety of cargo. Inside, upgrades include a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and premium cloth upholstery.

Frontier PRO-X/Frontier PRO-4X

Both the extra-rugged PRO-X and PRO-4X trims are virtually identical, with the major differences being the addition of standard 4-wheel drive and underbody bash plates for the latter. In order to achieve exceptional off-road capability, these variants have been fitted with all-terrain tires and off-road shock absorbers from Bilstein. They get snazzy LED headlights and fog lights, as well.

The cabin can be had with Charcoal cloth- or leather-wrapped seats with Lava Red contrast stitching. Selecting the PRO-X/PRO-4X Convenience Package brings enhancements like heating for the seats and steering wheel, a wireless charging station, and LED under-rail bed lighting.

Frontier SL

Key features, such as the Utili-track Channel System and 10-speaker Fender audio system, are made standard on the Frontier SL. Plush leather upholstery contributes to the luxurious feel of the cabin. Techies will love that this trim comes standard with HomeLink support, Nissan Door to Door Navigation, and the Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM). I-AVM uses multiple cameras to simulate a top-down, 360-degree view of the vehicle.
