Enjoy the Thrill of the 2020 Nissan GT-RThe 2020 Nissan GT-R is a sports car that will be the envy of passersby. Its sleek design and performance handling make it a car capable of exceeding expectations. If you are unfamiliar with the 2020 model of the GT-R, here are some things to know.

Extreme Power

The most notable feature of the 2020 Nissan GT-R is its extreme power. Each engine is built by hand by a single technician. Nissan has a team of five master technicians building extreme performance engines for the GT-R. It comes equipped with a powerful engine that generates up to 565 hp and 467 lb-feet of torque. It also has a variable torque split to keep it fully balanced at all times. If you want even more power than that, get the Nismo package. Its engine and powertrain modifications let it reach 600 hp and 481 lb-feet of torque. You’ll be behind the wheel of a legitimate street-legal race car.

Handling Modifications

With so much power under the hood of the GT-R, several modifications were needed to ensure high-quality handling. The GT-R has an engine that is located closer to the center of the vehicle. This gives it a better center of balance. The transmission was also relocated to the rear to create the first transaxle for an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Combined with a sport-tuned suspension system and down-draft body aerodynamics, it stays firmly planted on the ground while taking tight corners easily.

GT-R Nismo

If you want to get the best performance out of the GT-R, then you should look at the GT-R Nismo. It is modified by Nismo, Nissan’s racing division, to have enhanced performance. Plus, all Nismo vehicles have unique styling attributes and color schemes. It is the closest that you can get your GT-R to a race car, complete with the same styling as some of Nissan’s actual race cars.

Lightning-Fast Transmission

One of the secrets to the GT-R’s performance is its lightning-fast transmission. Shifting is where many high-performance cars lose speed since the power coming out of the engine never reaches the road. The faster a car can shift, the less power it loses in the process. The GT-R is equipped with a dual-clutch transmission that can shift in 0.15 seconds. With such a fast shift time, the GT-R barely loses any of its power, maximizing its acceleration.

Vehicle Dynamic Control

To make every drive as exhilarating and safe as possible, the GT-R is equipped with a Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system. The VDC monitors the condition of each wheel and your steering for potential problems. Then, it makes adjustments to prevent oversteer and to distribute torque where it is needed.
