Where to Take a Zumba Class in Indianapolis

Zumba is a very popular aerobic dance class where you get cardio to the beat of fun dance music. If you have never tried it out, many gyms offer free classes to members or make it available for a small fee per class. Some even offer trial classes. Here are some of the places that you can take a Zumba class in the Indianapolis area.

Studio G is located at 3919 Lafayette Road in the Lafayette Square Mall. It offers both personal training and small group fitness classes from its comfortable studio. It is an exceptionally affordable way to participate in group fitness classes. The staff members are welcoming and engaging. You do not need to have a strong base level of fitness to get started. 

Chrome Fitness 

Located at 890 E 116th Street in Carmel, Chrome Fitness is mostly known for its pole fitness classes. However, it does have an engaging lineup of other classes including Self Defense, Zumba, and a Bootcamp. It is a locally owned and operated gym that opened in 2014 by a highly educated personal trainer with a master’s degree in kinesiology. The studio is brightly lit and well-maintained. 

LTG Fitness 

LTG Fitness is located at 8015 Pendleton Pike Street. It is a bit different than you would expect to find in most gyms. Opened in 2013, LTG Fitness has a 60-day program that includes a range of fitness classes, group training, and a nutrition plan to follow. While weight loss is a big component of the program, the program also focuses on your energy, insulin levels, and overall health. According to online reviews, the format of the Zumba class changes each week so it always feels fresh and exciting. 

Fitness In Motion 

Located at 9477 E Washington Street, Fitness In Motion offers a wide range of fitness classes, including Zumba. The fitness studio is empowering with inspiring messages and lots of positive vibes. It features a no contract class pass that does not put you into the harsh terms of a lengthy gym contract that you feel you can’t get out of. It has more than 50 different classes to choose from so you’ll always be able to find one that you love. 

Irsay Family YMCA 

Irsay Family YMCA is located at 430 S Alabama Street. Like other YMCA locations around the country, there are many different activities for the whole family to participate in. Membership and drop-in rates are extremely affordable, with some scholarships and programs available for low-income families that want to gain access to fitness classes. There is childcare available for select membership levels and at certain times. 

In addition to these places to take a Zumba class, you can find classes at local recreation centers, churches, and even malls. There could even be pop-up classes at community parks. By searching online and on social media, you can find dozens of class locations to try out that may better suit your needs and scheduling requirements.
